A relatively inexpensive trillion sapphire, not too murky, and not too dark, otherwise pretty much any shade of blue. I'd prefer it were 3mm or larger.

If anyone has such a thing readily available, let me know!

It figures. Rio Grande sells trillions, and they sell sapphires, but at least in last year's catalogue they didn;t have any trillion sapphires. Hmm... how about aquamarine? They have aquamarine trillions in 5mm and 6mm sizes.

Nope, her birthstone is amethyst and her fave stone is sapphire. Those sizes would be just perfect too :) Such is life. One of my class mates has lab grown sapphires, but I want a natural stone.

Well... they do (or did) sell 6mm amethyst trillions at a very fair price (US$16.00/6).
